The University of Chicago Library News site is a WordPress driven solution for pushing out news for the different Library branches. The idea was to represent the the different branches as part of an integrated library system, rather than separate libraries, as they had been represented in the past. News types for the different branches was varied as some news was more public in nature while other news was more about library operations for students. Presenting these things cohesively both in the visual design and the technical implementation, while satisfying all the library stakeholders, was one of the major challenges. On this project, I was the sole designer and developer, responsible for the entire implementation.
